Chris Large's lifelong interest in firearms began with a Webley MkIII air rifle at the age of six.  His passion developed through clay pigeon shooting and crafting replica flintlocks at secondary school.  A work placement at Peter Wilson Auctioneers (now Wilson55) led to a permanent position, thanks to his encyclopaedic knowledge of antique firearms, Chris is a competitive target shooter and dedicated firearms collector.

A recognised authority in the field, Chris has grown Wilson55's Arms & Militaria department into a leading force, delivering some of the UK's top specialist auctions each year.  These auctions attract consignments and buyers from across the UK and abroad, with strong demand for antique and modern firearms, edged weapons and military memorabilia.
