* In 2002, the Cathedral Chapter at Liverpool Cathedral commissioned the Rossendale artist, Don McKinlay to create a Christ-child to be set alongside the Madonna in the Lady Chapel. The commission was given in memory of Dean Derrick Walters who died in 2000. This is the maquette for that sculpture which now sits in the Lady Chapel at Liverpool Cathedral in front of the kneeling Madonna. The kneeling figure of the Madonna in the Lady Chapel has been attributed to the school of Giovanni della Robbia.
