* The Demolition of St. Saviours Church, Bolton shows the Church, originally built in the 1880s, being demolished in c1975. It was demolished as a result of two parishes being combined – with Emmanuel Church being the winner. This latter Church, on Cannon Street, is also no longer in use as a place of worship (being closed in the 90's) but was saved from demolition by its conversion into apartments.
