1914 Rover 500cc, largely restored but requiring finishing work to re-commision. This early machine has been consigned locally after being kept in store for a number of years. Although Rover might today be better known as car makers, the manufacturers also made over 10,000 motorbikes during the great war supplying both the British and Russian armies, ceasing production in 1925. V5 included with buff log book dating back to 1928, a note being made showing the original documents were destroyed before this date. According to DVLA the vehicle is still under its original number, also included with AM3830 is a period headlight and an exhaust silencer casting which needs finishing.
