There are very minor depressions to the metal end plates in small areas. All keys play two notes and the instrument plays with plenty of volume. Looking through the pierced metal end plates there is evidence of period repairs. The bellows show scuffs from wear but no holes or repairs can be seen. The case has wear from use, the locking latch has been replaced as has the handle. One seam is coming apart at the lid.
