Ebonised repeating bracket clock, C Edmonds, London, circa 1775, the bell-topped case with carrying handle and pineapple finials, the door with pierced brass quadrants and moulded edges, on moulded set out skirt and brass bracket feet, fitted with a break-arch dial with silvered strike/silent, roman chapter ring, matte field, silvered name plate engraved C Edmonds, London, pendulum and date apertures, dial width 8, the five-pillar movement with twin fusees, verge escapement, six-bell quarter repeat carillon, hour strike bell, date advance and backplate engraved symmetrically with leaf scrolls and a basket of fruit, minimum height 47cm (ticks, winds, strikes the hour, repeats the quarters and hour; winding key). *See clocks and watches proviso.
