Ebonised bracket clock.

Ebony veneered striking and repeating bracket clock, late 17th century and later, the gilt metal open work repousse basket top, cast handle and finials, over a square door with gilt mounts, enclosing a 7 brass dial with cherub spandrels, matte field, turned winding holes, date aperture, strike/silent at 12 o'clock and silvered Roman chapter ring, five pillar twin fusee movement with verge escapement striking the hour on a top bell and pull quarter repeat on six bells, the square backplate symetrically engraved with sunflowers, minimum height 35cm (ticks, winds, strikes, repeats; winding key). *See clock and watches proviso.
