Two South Sea pearl necklaces
The beautiful pair of round to off-round natural South Sea pearl necklaces, containing a total of 106 pearls, with both strings possessing a cream body colour and subtle overtones of silver and pink. Naturally formed grooves are present in almost all of the pearls. These features can be caused by inconsistent water temperature or weather changes, etc, resulting in uneven nacre buildup. The pearls exhibit a moderate orient, lustre and reflection. Small set stamped 375, length 46cm, weight 51.2g, the second set stamped 375, length 60cm, weight 78.6g.
