An Extensive Matched George IV and Later Service of Silver Cutlery with Additional Silver Plated Flatware
Presented in an Oak Silver Chest Retailed by Elkington & Co. Ltd., Silversmiths, Regent Street, London

An Extensive Matched George IV and Later Service of Cutlery, presented in fitted green-baize lined trays, the hallmarked silver comprising a fish carving fork, 21 table forks, 18 dessert forks, 18 teaspoons, 6 coffee spoons, a mustard spoon, a pair of sugar tongs, five meat skewers, three marrow scoops, 18 table spoons, 18 dessert spoons and a mustard pot, the majority in a double-struck Fiddle & Thread pattern with a chased horse's head armorial to terminals; together with a selection of silver plated flat and tableware including four serving tureens with covers and handles, a pair of asparagus tongs, a pair of grape scissors, a pair of fish servers and set of fish knives, two pairs of nutcrackers and further similar; all presented in an iron-bound oak silver chest with Elkington & Co. Ltd. paper listing to the green baize and floral paper-lined interior.
