Cased Deane Adams and Deane model 1851 54 bore percussion revolver, serial number 9180, 6 inch octagonal barrel with three groove rifling, the top strap engraved 'Deane, Adams and Deane, 30 King William Street, London Bridge', five shot cylinder, London proof marks, the frame fitted with later Adams improved 1854 loading lever, engraved scrollwork and most of the original blue, chequered wood grips with sprung trap to the base. The oak case with vacant name plaque, green baize lining, Deane Adams and Deane label to in lid, fitted out with an original Adams 1851 registered ball and bullet two cavity mould, James Dixon powder flask and oil bottle, nipple key, cleaning rod, and a rarely found wad punch.
Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18.
