Servette Geneve 1988-1989 match worn UEFA Cup home football shirt, long sleeves, size large, player number 15, manufactured by Adidas, sponsor Placette to front.
Eric Groeleken swapped this shirt with a player after the second leg of the UEFA Cup second round match between Servette FC and FC Groningen. The game took place on 9th November 1988 (1-1). Groningen won on 3-1 on aggregate with Eric Groeleken scoring the first goal in the first home leg. We are unsure of the player who wore the shirt, the Servette programme list no.15 as Rober Kok, uefa.com as Vincent Colletti.

Finally, is a superb single-owner collection amassed over a number of years relating to the Hanley born boxer Jack Mathews 'The Fighting Barber' and his son, Stoke City and England legend, Sir Stanley Matthews.
