An 18ct yellow gold "Sputnik" multicoloured round cabochon charm pendant, by Garrards
Featuring a variety of cabochon-cut semi-precious gemstones. The design was particularly popular during the mid-20th century, with the significance of the space race. The design of the Sputnik charm was inspired by its satellite namesake, which is also spherical in shape. The remnants of a full hallmark are visible on both charms, stamped 750, gross weight: 12.21g.
