Werndl model 1867/77 11x58mm rifle, 33inch barrel with slot cut through the underside below the stock as an old form of deactivation, with bayonet bar, secured by two bands and fitted with a folding ladder sight, rotary breech, stamped Werndl ST69, the lock repeated with 868 for 1868/69 acceptance year, full length stock fitted with spur trigger guard and sling loop. Faint unit mark to the butt.
