Maynard .50 calibre capping breech-loading carbine with case, with 20 inch barrel fitted with folding leaf sights, trigger tang dated 1865, side of the receiver stamped Edward Maynard Patentee May 27 1851, and Manufactured by Mass Arms Co. Chicopee Falls, the stock stamped with two crisp inspectors marks, fitted into period pine case containing 18 empty cases.
Section 58(2) antique/ obsolete calibre no licence required to buy this lot, purchaser must be over the age of 18.
