Snider 1869 pattern .577 cavalry carbine, 19 inch barrel with MkIII shoe fitted with folding ladder sight (blade lacking) crown VR lock stamped 1859 Tower, the stock fitted with two screws for leather sight protector, and stamped 2 N C, the heel of the butt plate stamped V I W C.
Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence.
