German WWII K98 7.92 bolt action sniper rifle, 24inch barrel, the received stamped with 147 manufacturers code for J.P.Sauer & Son as well as 1939 date, profusely stamped with Waffenamt marks and eagle and swastika marks, serial number 2838 to receiver, bolt and most parts except the muzzle band (numbered 9312) and the stock which is un-numbered, with a period leather sling. Fitted with a Dialytan 4X telescope stamped bmj, and serial numbered 85322, with leather scope covers.
