Set of Ten "Homemaker" Range Plates
Designed mid-1950s and launched 1957, monochrome transfer-printed in the "Furniture" pattern, printed marks to reverse.
Dimensions: 22.5cm diameter
The "Homemaker" range was retailed exclusively by Woolworths from its launch in 1957 until the 1970s; its success was a surprise to the designer, Enid Seeney, who only became aware of its production when seeing a display on a shop shelf.
