Autograph album with 1950's footballers to include members of the 1954-1955 Manchester United squad with three of the Busby Babes, Roger Byrne, Mark Jones and Tommy Taylor. Others include the Portsmouth squad with J. Dickenson and others, England players such as Lionel Smith, Bob Langton, Sam Bartram, Harry Johnston, Stanley Matthews, Leon Leuty, Len Shackleton, Tommy Lawton, Henry Cockburn. The Port Vale 4th Division Champions in 1958, Middlesex Cricket squad including Denis Compton, Sid Brown and Alan Moss. Our Sporting Memorabilia auction has over 150 lots including three strong single owner collections of football and boxing memorabilia. First, are a number of items belonging to Peter Robinson, Liverpool's former club secretary of 35 years, starting in 1965 following jobs at Stockport County, Crewe Alexandra, Scunthorpe United and Brighton & Hove Albion. Following this are a selection of European match-worn football shirts from the 1980's & 1990's belonging to former Dutch striker Eric Groeleken. Finally, is a superb single-owner collection amassed over a number of years relating to the Hanley born boxer Jack Mathews 'The Fighting Barber' and his son, Stoke City and England legend, Sir Stanley Matthews.
