Percussion double barrel Howdah pistol by Tanner of Herzberg, 9inch Damascus 28bore octagonal barrels, one smooth bored, one with microgrove rifling, named in platinum Tanner in Hannover, the German silver foresight breaking a feathered arrow, gold lined breech, the false breech engraved with scrollwork and fitted with clock key adjustable rear sight, the locks engraved with maker name, fitted with sprung nipple covers, chequered grip fitted with oval engraved boss possibly concealing a fitting for a shoulder stock.
Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required.
