Portuguese contract Steyr Mannlicher M.1896 bolt action 6.5x53R rifle smooth bored to be a shotgun serial number B3465, 3inch barrel with Birmingham proof mark, secured by two bands and fitted with a folding ladder sight, the receiver stamped 402, the magazine with floor plate welded in to reduce capacity to three rounds maximum.
Note, the gun has been smooth bored but retains the original chamber consequently it still qualifies for Section 58(2)
Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out.
