The signature style of De Vroomen jewellery is the result of a collaboration between husband and wife team, Dutch goldsmith Leo de Vroomen, and British jewellery designer Ginnie de Vroomen.
Leo de Vroomen was born in 1941 in the Netherlands and trained both with Dutch silversmiths and in Swiss workshops before coming to England to set up his own workshop. Ginnie, on the other hand, was born in 1947 and trained at the Kingston College of Art and London University. The couple met when Ginnie was reaching art metalwork in 1970, and in the same year, the couple began to collaborate on jewellery.
De Vroomen designs encapsulate a dedication to form and a timeless style that is unparalleled. The pair work mainly in gold and never make more than a few copies of any given design. De Vroomen jewellery is bold, sophisticated and sought-after, with fewer than a handful of pieces auctioned in the last couple of years.
