Tranter Revolvers

The Tranter revolver has a strong connection to the American civil war where it was used by the confederate military and became one of their trusted weapons. Tranter's double-action cap and ball revolver was invented in 1856 by William Tranter and was produced up until 1880.The value of Tranter revolvers varies according to age and condition with a 4th Model Tranter Revolver recently selling at one of our auctions for £400.
