Diamond Floral Earrings in our September Sale

Consigned from a Cheshire lady are two pairs of 18ct gold and diamond floral earrings by popular 20th century manufacturing jewellers Cropp & Farr. These pieces were consigned on a valuation appointment and are set to sell in our September 16th Fine Jewellery & Watches Auction.

Cropp & Farr jewellery is characterised by excellent workmanship. Founded in 1917, the London based jewellers created beautiful brooches, earrings, rings, necklaces, cufflinks and bracelets throughout the 20th Century, each bearing the firms’ maker’s mark ‘C&F’ - sometimes within a rectangular surround and frequently accompanied with hallmarks. Cropp & Farr pieces come in a wide variety of eye-catching designs but typically feature floral sprays, figural renderings, textured gold and kaleidoscopic gemstones.

These fantastically floral earrings by Cropp & Farr, similar in shape and style, were purchased by our vendor in consecutive years, with assay marks for 1994-5. With fixed post and safety clip fittings, these beautiful earrings make the perfect statement!
