Stephen Sparrow's passion for art and history began at an early age, inspired by childhood visits to National Trust properties.  This early fascination led him to study History of Art and Architecture at the University of Warwick and Ca' Foscari University in Venice, deepening his knowledge and appreciation for the subject.

Stephen has built a strong reputation for Northern Art, an umbrella term for 20th-century artists who focused on the urban landscapes of the Northwest and continues to lead this vibrant market with record-breaking sales featuring both established and emerging names.  Stephen brings decades of experience and close connections with artists and their estates and is always happy to advise buyers and sellers alike.
