Craig Underhill is a Scottish studio ceramicist and painter; born in 1968 in Glasgow, he lectured at Dudley College during his career before taking more time to focus on his work with regular exhibitions before relocating his home and studio to Cornwall in 2020.

His pots are handbuilt with clay slabs and purposefully reflect the making process with simple tools used to incise pattern while engobe is used similarly to pain to add the abstracted imagery influenced by the natural and human landscape around him.
