Our modern art and design auctions include designer furniture, studio pottery, ceramics and glass, sculpture, paintings and prints, with work by names such as Banksy, Blek le Rat, Mary Fedden, David Hockney and Andy Warhol. The market for modern furniture is busy, with steady interest in Scandinavian design.
We regularly look for pieces by designers including Jean Prouvé, Hans Wegner, Piero Fornasetti, Robert "Mouseman" Thomson, Ercol, Charles and Ray Eames, Eero Saarinen, Arne Jacobsen and Le Corbusier, and glass and ceramics by makers such as Kosta Boda, Murano, Lalique, Émile Gallé, Lucie Rie, Bernard Leach, Hans Coper, Clarice Cliff and Moorcroft.
Alongside the names already mentioned, we regularly look for pieces by Jules Leleu, Mark Brazier-Jones, John Makepeace, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Alvar Aalto, and by makers such as Heals, Isokon and Wells Coates.
In glass and ceramics we look for work by Daum, Dale Chihuly and the Martin Brothers, alongside the studio potters already named.
