This sale features a stunning selection of high-grade gold and silver coins including many proof modern Royal Mint collectable issues such as the 2022 Royal Mint, Gold Proof Two Pound Coin, Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Dame Vera Lynn and the 2020 Royal Mint, Gold Proof Fifty Pence, Brexit, the UK's Withdrawal from the European Union together with many more sensational Royal Mint gold and silver proof sets.  There is also a strong single owner collection of hammered silver coinage dating back to Henry VIII which have been discovered locally over many years by a metal detectorist.  Foreign gold coinage is also strongly represented with many beautiful French and Russian high-grade gold coins as well as gold coins from South Africa and Sweden.

Banknotes are well represented in this sale with a good selection of Bank of England, Isle of Man and Scottish banknotes to include two very rare hand-signed banknotes by the then Chief Cashier - D.H.F. Somerset.
