18th century Italian Maiolica drug jar, tin glazed made for the Certosa di San Martino, Naples, painted with St. Martin on a rearing horse, a beggar by his side, inscribed AB CONSOLIDE MAIOR, with monogram for the Carthusian monks order and dated 1701.
