Circa 1943, the signed dial with arabic markers, outer minutes track and blued steel hands, cal. 12.68 N 16 jewel manual wind movement signed and numbered 6567578 within a stainless steel and chrome plated snap-back case numbered 22 5, 22429, 1022, and marked 'AM 6B/159 5094/43' to case back, case diameter 32mm.
Vendor's father served in the Royal Air Force in WW2 and returned his government issued watch at the end of the war. Shortly thereafter, he was offered the opportunity to purchase this Longines 6B/159 issue watch. The piece has remained in the same family ever since.
