Chinese brass bound jewellery travel chest, highly carved throughout with dragons and other motifs, opening to reveal an arrangement of five drawers below a large compartment housed beneath the lid, twin brass carrying handles to each side. Inside inscribed 'Captain John C. Adams USA 1909'.
