Carved stock Boer War DWM Mauser 7x57 bolt action rifle, matching serial numbers 1121, named 'W.A. Nel. 1900, Bethlehem O.V.S.', 30 inch barrel with London proof marks, secured by two bands, fitted with folding ladder rear sight, original cleaning rod. Together with a period leather strap and a luggage tag which has accompanied the rifle reading '4 Elephant Bullets, Lent by Sgt Major Morton (Signed) Major Hamilton'
