Martin Hill (1925-2006) was a British Architect born in Ditchling Sussex but moved to New Zealand in 1952. Hill amassed an important collection of Studio Pottery by leading artists, significant enough to warrant Bernard Leach's visit to personally inspect the collection in 1962.
