Thomas Turner .577 percussion muzzle loading volunteer prize rifle, 33inch barrel with five groove rifling, fitted with bayonet lug, folding ladder sight and secured by two bands, the lock engraved 'Thomas Turner, 8 Fisher Street Birmingham', figured three quarter length stock fitted a patchbox engraved 'Presented by Thomas Turner Fisher Street Birmingham to Corpl. H. Jarvis, the best shot of no.1&2 companies, of the Somersetshire Rifle Volunteers 1860'. Together with a leather sling.

Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18.
