Scottish basket-hilt broad sword, double-edged blade by Andrea Farara named within the central of three near full-length fullers, iron hilt of flattened bars pierced with Maltese crosses and circles, original liner, fish skin grip, and conical pommel engraved with 8 / 66 regiment number possibly representing 8th company 66th man, together with a period nonmatching leather and steel scabbard, early 18th century.
