Eric Groeleken swapped this shirt with a player after the UEFA Cup last 16, second leg match between VfB Stuttgart v FC Groningen, final score 2-0 with two goals by Jürgen Klinsmann. Eric Groeleken was substituted on in the 61st minute of the match. According to uefa.com records this shirt may have belonged to Olaf Schmäler who was substituted on in the 70th minute.

Finally, is a superb single-owner collection amassed over a number of years relating to the Hanley born boxer Jack Mathews 'The Fighting Barber' and his son, Stoke City and England legend, Sir Stanley Matthews.
