M.A. Taylor of Sheffield .451 percussion target rifle, 35 inch barrel with fine adjustable globe front sight (three elements present in total) and folding ladder rear sight, half-length stock with the provision of a peep sight to be mounted, serial number A3980 (hidden under the forend) Birmingham proofs.

The maker of this rifle has been in touch with us to say he made this rifle in 1980. It was used by Mr Gordon Gerrade who scored a record 98 in the MLAGB Short Range match at Bisleys Short Siberia range.This class of rifle was made for long ranges up to 1,000 yards
