DWM Mauser 1893 7x57 bolt action rifle probably for the ZAR / OVS Boer war, 30inch barrel, folding ladder sight, matching serial numbers 7791 to receiver and bolt.
Outside of the serial number and DWM stamps, the rifle is completely unmarked except for a small stock cartouche with similar marks found on the receiver and bolt. There is evidence of markings being removed from the stock and the top of the receiver. The bolt has the square base to the head typical of ZAR / OVS Mausers.
UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH CORRECT VARIATION FOR 7mm or 7x57 RIFLE OR RFD REQUIRED
