A mid 19th century mahogany longcase clock by John Cameron, Kilmarnock (1836-9). The straight stepped canopy with semi-circular door, painted dial with rural scenes depicting 'Spring', 'Summer', 'Harvest', 'Winter' and the 'Pass of Killiecrankie'. The dial is also painted with Roman numerals and has two subsidiary dials with Arabic numerals (for seconds and days of the month). Trunk with long door on square box base. Eight-day, two-train movement, striking on a single bell. 214 x 56cm.
