A late 17th century walnut and beech marquetry inlaid longcase clock.

A late 17th century walnut and beech marquetry inlaid longcase clock. A stepped caddy pediment with Doric columns and long door with glass bull's eye to view pendulum. The entire case is inlaid with an intricate foliate design. The brass dial has brass spandrels and a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary dial and date aperture. Signed Rich: Fennel Kinsington (Kensington). Eight-day two train movement. 86.5 x 18.5in.
