Macallan 1962 Tudor Crystal Decanter 25 Year Old (Bottled 1987)

A beautifully presented Macallan decanter bottled at 25 years old. The Hand-blown English (Stourbridge) Crystal decanter is known as the “Tudor Decanter”. Engraved on the decanter is a large 'M' and included is a well-designed engraved 1962 crystal glass stopper. This highly collectible 25 year old Speyside malt was distilled in 1962 at The Macallan distillery, matured in sherry casks and bottled in 1987 for the Macallan 'M' 1824 series. This wonderful malt really is a sight to behold and is complete with its original stopper.
The decanter and stopper are in very good condition - the original outer presentation package is missing.

The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid, a barley farmer and school teacher. Now owned by the Edrington Group, The Macallan prides itself on its Six Pillars, which include its curiously small stills, very narrow 'cut' of new make spirit and exceptional cask management. It is the most sought after whisky for collectors, regularly setting records at auctions all around the world.
