John Weber ebonised bracket clock with verge

Ebony veneered bracket clock, generally 18th century, broken arch brass face, silvered chapter ring, matt field with date aperture and false pendulum, strike/silent ring to the arch, twin fusee movement, anchor escapement (converted from verge), hour strike on a bell, five turned pillars, engraved back plate inscribed John Weber Fecit, pendulum clamp, in a bell topped case with brass grilles, on gilt shell feet. Height 42.5cm (Ticks readily, winds, strikes, with pendulum and key)
