Arthur Mayger Hind (1880-1957), Llangorse Lake, near Brecon, signed and dated 1934, watercolour and pencil, 22.5 x 32cm.; 9 x 12.75in. * Entered British Museum in 1903, being keeper of prints and drawings 1933-45. He was Slade Professor of Fine Art at Oxford, 1921-7. Exhibited RA; Agnew; Goupil Gallery; NEAC and Colnaghi's. Work held by Ashmolean Museum, Oxford; Graves Art Gallery, Sheffield and galleries abroad.
