Victoria, Coronation, 1838, a silver medal by B. Pistrucci, diademed bust left, rev. Victoria seated left, being offered the crown by Britannia, Scotia and Hibernia, 37mm, 19.38g (W & E 88A.2; BHM 1801; E 1315). Attractively toned, nearly extremely fine, the reverse better; in burgundy box of issue, together with the accompanying Bronze Coronation Medal, 1838, 37mm, 25g, gVF, in a well-worn case (2).
