* Ingham was a Lancashire-based artist influenced by L.S. Lowry. In 1946, along with her husband Ned Owens, she set up the Mid-Day Studios in the basement of a house opposite Manchester City Art Gallery, it was where Lowry's first major one-person show was held in 1948.
