Unusual sculpture of a tiger by Colin Melbourne probably made at Wedgwood as a prototype produced in the Skeaping style whilst in his employment at Wedgwood as a modeller and sculptor, the tiger is decorated with a moonstone glaze and bears the inscription to the base 'To Mother and Dad from Colin 1947' 34.5cm long Condition report: firing crack to back leg and small glaze chip to rear edge of base.
