A letter from Laurence Stephen Lowry to Mrs Delahaye advising her to pursue her painting and to draw inspiration from the Lancashire Towns, much as he himself had done, dated May 1965 and written whilst on holiday and staying at The Seaburn Hotel, Sunderland.
