A Late 19th Century Small French Ormolu 'Cartel' Clock in the Louis XV Style by Henry Eugène Adrien Farcot, well cast and profusely detailed with scrolls and floral sprays, the raised painted porcelain dial beneath covex glass and set with blue enamelled Roman hour markers and black Arabic five-minute markers, the movement with platform escapement, stamped star and anchor shield mark and no. 626.
