A Fine Regency Skeleton Table Clock Signed Whitehurst & Son Derby and Dated 1829, in gilt brass with cast ormolu mounts, the silvered engine turned dial set with gilt Roman numeral hour markers, chain-driven single-fusee four-wheel train movement, half-deadbeat escapement regulated by a disc bob pendulum decorated with a cast cherubic mask, signed to five-spoke spring barrel, presented on a stepped rectangular white marble plinth to black hardstone base raised on four cast knopped feet and beneath a glass dome.

Dimensions: Clock 28.5cm high, 18cm wide; 40.5cm high including dome, 25.5cm wide overall
