Beswick Spirit of Whitfield modelled after 'Kruger' by Graham Tongue 24cm high Kruger was the last pit pony to work at the colliery and was retired in 1931. The first model from this set of four was presented to H.R.H. Princess Royal on her visit to Chatterley Whitfield Mining Museum to open the New Pit on October 13th 1987. Condition report: No damages or restoration to report. No crazing or gilt wear. Some tarnishing to the applied metal plaque.
