Minton Turtle or Tortoise teapot 1880 -1900 painted with naturalistic colours, incised 629 and diamond registration mark to base, (some glaze flaking to the handle, the finial chipped and restuck) (2) 22cm long Condition report: The finial knocked off and poorly restuck, with chip to edge of shell, old paint restoration. Glaze flaking to the green enamel of the handle and the occasional flake to the feet. Crazing to the light areas of the glaze.
